Levenes is a Legal 500 and Chambers listed firm with 100+ staff.
We are seeking to appoint a Solicitor to our busy and successful Employment team. In addition to handling a challenging caseload of predominantly contentious matters on behalf of employers and employees the successful applicant will have business development and supervisory responsibilities.
The role will initially be based at our head office in Wood Green but with a view to the entire Employment team moving to an office in central London dedicated solely to Employment law.
We are committed to expanding and enhancing our Employment law practice in central London, particularly with commercial clients, and are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Solicitor with excellent commercial acumen. There are strong partnership prospects for the right candidate.
Applicants should –
Have at least 5 years PQE (or equivalent) gained in private practice representing both employers and employees in mainly contentious matters, including experience of representing employees under CFAs.
Be fully competent in all aspects of Employment law and able to work without supervision.
Have a consistent record of generating a high level of fee income.
Have a consistent record of attracting new business and the ability to build strong client relationships.
Have excellent litigation skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
We are offering an excellent package comprising a starting salary of up to £80,000 and a generous bonus arrangement based on fee income. Applicants seeking a salary towards the higher end should have a significant following of employer clients.
